Martial Arts in Thibodaux - Pre-k Martial Arts, Jiu Jitsu, Striking
11.1.23 Next Generation Martial Arts in Thibodaux class schedule includes Pre-k Martial Arts, Jiu Jitsu, and Striking.
4:30pm Pre-k Martial Arts class - We will have a fairly quick warm up before jumping straight into "ride the bull". After we will follow that up with rounds of grappling and an obstacle course.
5:30pm Kids Jiu Jitsu class - Class will begin with our usual calisthenics and back control 101. We will then work on our dominant positions once we disperse into groups. Class will end with rounds of takedowns.
6:30pm Adult Jiu Jitsu class - Tonight we are covering the front headlock position. This wrestling position under utilized position in bjj and is great for sport and self defense applications because it gives you the high ground and forces your opponents hands to the ground.
6:30pm Adult Striking class - After warm up we will begin on the kick shields for front, side and round house kicks. We will cover our hi/low combo with angles as we build on our technique from Monday. Please bring mouth guard, gloves, and shin guards. Jiu Jitsu white belts remember to attend these classes when you can.
